Thermal coal, also known as ‘steaming coal’ or just ‘coal’, is widely used as the principle means of generating electricity in much of the world. However, its high carbon and sulfur content means it is also a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions and global warming. This means it is increasingly being excluded from asset management portfolios, particularly those that seek to lower than carbon footprints.
Coal in all its forms derives from the remains of plants that grew on Earth about 250 million years ago. These plants decayed and were eventually turned into coal by the intense heat and pressure of the Earth’s geological forces. Since its discovery in prehistoric times as a mineral that burns easily, it has been increasingly used to generate heat.

They determine the causes of a component’s failure, and test manufactured products to maintain quality. They also estimate the time and cost required to complete projects. Supervisory engineers are responsible for major components or entire projects.
Engineers use computers extensively to produce and analyze designs; to simulate and test how a machine, structure, or system operates; to generate specifications for parts; to monitor the quality of products; and to control the efficiency of processes. Nanotechnology, which involves the creation of high-performance materials and components by integrating atoms and molecules, also is introducing entirely new principles to the design process.

Our company sells coal from our producer Shubarkol Komir, which mines coal using new technologies, minimizing air pollution and using six main principles of mining.
Longwall mining is mining where a long wall of coal is mined in a single slice.
Room and pillar mining systems are systems in which the mined material is extracted across a horizontal plane, creating horizontal arrays of rooms and pillars.
Drilling and blasting is the controlled use of explosives and other methods such as gas pressure blasting pyrotechnics, to break rock for excavation.
Retreat mining is the removal of pillars in the underground mining technique known as room and pillar mining.
Shortwall mining, involves the use of a continuous mining machine with movable roof supports, similar to longwall.
We also deal with metalwork and engineering.
